Default Narrow Frame Hydraulic Lift questions?

I have a Narrow Frame Hydraulic lift that is missing the Hydraulic lift actuating handle (#15 on the parts diagram) and link (#12). I can find the lift rod but not the link for sale.

Would anyone be able to measure their existing link so I could try and reproduce one? A very good picture of one mounted would also work as I could lift my dimensions off of the picture. Also a picture of the press on nuts used would be good so I can pickup the same style.

Link Dimension:

Diameter
Distance from center to center of each leg
Leg lengths

Thanks in advance, Bruce

Of the two that I have here one has a VERY homemade link, the other looks like it belongs there.

I didn't get a diameter for you, but it's about as close to the size of the hole in the handle and lever as you can get.

From the center of one bent end to the center of the other is about 2-5/8" and each bent end is right at 1/2" measuring "inside the angle".

If you can't tell from the picture, someone used one of those self tapping stamped sheet metal nuts on one end and on the other end is a push nut that is shaped like a hat that Charlie Chan used to wear (sorry, but that's what it is shaped like).

I hope this is of some help.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
