Default Any Black Friday scores here?

About the only thing I snagged was a 50' retractable hose reel from Farm & Fleet. Regular $69.99 on sale today for $34.99. For as much as I use my air compressor, I couldn't resist.

So did anyone else here brave the stores and score anything today?

More like a black Thursday. I ordered a new seat from northern. They had a one day sale on it for 84.99 instead of the usual $99.99 .

Worked midnight to 8am then straight to bed at 8:30 so I slept through all the excitement. Bummer. There's always next year.

I make it a point to stay away from stores on black Friday. The older I get the less patience I have.

I'm the Bah Hum Bug guy, I give everyone cash and tell them to get what they want after Christmas for 1/2 price. I am so tired of all this marketing crap. We as a country have totally forgotten what Christmas is all about. Here's a clue The birth of Christ. Rant off.

I agree 110% Sam. Christmas should be able spending time with the family and friends and giving THOUGHTFUL gifts (if you are going to gift). Instead, it's turned into the biggest profit making day for big corporations of the year. I haven't gone out to the store on Black Friday in years. I don't need to spend 6 hours waiting in line to save 25% on a DVD or some other useless crap. I have better things to do with my time like spend it with loved ones at home. Or have a stiff drink, now there's a jolly occasion

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
