Hey guys after getting my own 122 running good and finally using it regularly, and getting my friends dads 129 fixed up a little I am beginning work on my 123.
It has no motor so I am taking a Briggs 9hp vanguard and putting it in, the driveshaft is disconnected from the flex/rag joint thing in the rear and it looks like a bear to get at without removing tin around the back, but I have a drive cup and driveshaft connector thing. Will get them onto the vanguard soon then mark the spot were I will need to notch the frame on one side, the other side barely touches the oil fill which the cap can be modified cuz there's another oil fill. Then I will figure out wiring for the electric start it was pretty much a fully wired motor but untested. One problem, I want to put a pulley on the pto side of the motor but it has angled splined that I will have to grind off and make work somehow I plan to use that pulley for hydraulic system for my snowplow in the future when I make that hydraulic angle.
