Default 1650 hydro questions

I have a 1650 and i have a problem with the hydro fluid coming out of the (what i think is a) check valve? (under the cover in front of the seat, it looks like a bolt with a small hole in the top) what would cause it and what can i do to fix it

Hello fellow Oklahoman. There is a guy that rebuilds them on ebay for a reasonable price. Not sure of his name, but numerous people on here have used him with good results. One of them will chime in I'm sure.

You either have to have them rebuilt or buy new ones.

www.machtechdirect.com

I emailed them direct, and sent them my valves and they rebuilt them for $35 apiece. It took a week te get them back and they work perfect. They are located in Conneaut, OH near Cleveland.

The Relief Valves are all the same throughout the use of the Sundstrand 15U series hydro unit. Only difference is........manual or automatic.

Swap 'em....Unless you're taking a good running machine and disabling it. Then have them rebuilt.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
