Default It's been a while

Ok guys I know that it has been a while since I was on here. With work going 6 days a week hard to do anything but I did some trading over the weekend. Traded my 122 for a red 582. She needed a clutch got that done finally just gotta clean the carb and fire up.

well cub i tried until 2 am sunday morning and all i got was bad luck...shot the starter gear off...finally got it to run but only at idle...gave it fuel and died and just shot gas from the carb...checked to see if its firing hot enough and sure enough the coil is going bad...barely lights the plugs up...so motor is out and tore down

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
