Default 125 Makeover taking shape

I stripped my 125 down to every last nut, bolt, screw and washer. I already have done the engine (k301 make over) and it runs like a charm. I have cleaned and repainted all the parts in the last few days. Any parts that look bad or doubtful are replaced. I am now in the process of putting it back together. It looked rough when I started, but I think it will turn out very nice (I'm in no rush ). Before i get to the pics, I would like to say Thank You to all the people who contributed all the info on this site, which I learned sooooo much about Cub Cadets. In the pics you can see what I started with and where I am now. I will update with more pics as I get things done.

Made some progress in the last couple days. It's starting to look like a tractor. I got the engine in today and even took it for a spin in the parking lot/driveway. It runs great. I didn't think a 12 hp hydro had that much power (my JD100 turned green with envy). Here's some updated pics (this is really a lot of fun).

Thanks for the comments, fellas . I really enjoy rebuilding these tractors and after I'm done with the 125, I have a 105 to do.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
