Default Put down payment on a 86

Tonight I put a little down payment for my uncles nice 86. Been wanting it ever since he bought it. He bought it with snow blower and is keeping the snowblower for his 128 so I'm just buyin the 86 without any attachments but I'm happy with that. Just gonna baby it and maybe restore it. Hope to pay him off within 2 weeksimage.jpg

Nick that's what you New Yawkas call upstate although I used to call it western New York. I went to college out past there and that's where soda starts to get called "pop". Definitely brings back memories.

Anyway congrats Hoad, great tractor you're getting, looks really nice and the 86 is a cool somewhat rare model. Good job.

It's gonna be taken care of. My father sold him his 128 we picked up at auction for $350 and other then decals it was restored. Only reason dad sold it was mom witched til he did. So that's why my uncle is selling the 86. And I didn't wanna see it go to any joe shmo so.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
