Working electric lift. How do I adjust height in regards to the cylinder itself to get more lift?

Nice find, looks like a great little 147. As far as the lift travel, the only limiter would be the height adjust bar, which is the L-bracket that will slide back and forth. Have a look and see if it's stopping travel.

I'm looking forward to this one. It's been on my list now for quite some time. I'm not real certain how well I am going to like the electric lift that is there, but I will adjust to it in time. The rear lights are working but the headlights are not at the moment. Other than That minor issue I will only need to get a tube for one front tire and then I can start using it. I believe I will use it to do the mowing this season and possibly start a thread on my 107 for restoration. I need/want to accomplish one at least. I now have the 107,127 and the 147. Hmmm. One for a blower one with a blade and one for mowing. Don't sound bad to me

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
