Default New to me 1200

Here is the picture of a 1200 that I just picked up today. Missing a couple of parts, but the engine hums and it starts quick with no choke. Can anyone tell me if the 1200 had iso-mounts or not? Too doggone cold to inspect--38* with 20-25 mph gusts.

Great score! I love the gear drive QL's! Yes, it is just like all QL's, it has iso-mounts.

Ok, thanks buddy!! It needs a bath when the weather gets warmer...and a nose.--the hood keeps falling off without it.

Just the gear drives?

Looks good, OP! Like John said, it uses ISO mounts like other Quietlines. Can't wait to see more pics of the ol' girl

Edit: I am SOOOOOO glad we're done with the negative degree weather and snow. Just keep your chin up, you'll get past!

All my tractors need a bath. If my wash bay in the shop wasn't so full I could do it in there. But, it's full........ of my cubs.

That nose is hard to find. The lower grill is easy to find either alum. or cast iron but the top one will take a while unless you have a tractor junk yard close.
I found the head lights and grill.

No I didn't! Shoot me a link so I can check it out, I almost sent you a text earlier asking how they Lo-Boy's are going. Hope it didn't take much to get them running!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
