I purchased my buddy's dearly departed fathers 782 with front hydraulics, deck, and blade for a song. My cousin saw the blade, and is drooling over it, wants to trade me his 195-364 2 stage blower for the blade, but I want to keep the blade to fill potholes in the lane. So if I get him a new blade, I can trade for his blower, which I want for the two days a year the snow is too deep for me to just drive over. (1/2 mile gravel lane, measured) (the blower model number does NOT list -100 as the last three numbers, and this model has been the subject of questions on this forum before) (I know I need a bigger tractor to live on 150 acres, that's just not in the cards this year or next - not until I pay off the brand new Bobcat FastCat Pro ZTR mower) Thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide! Other than service manuals from binder books, any other Cubbie specific reference books I should have on my shelf? Any recommended cross reference publications?

The push blade looks like a 54" for a WF Cub. The 190-364-100 will work just fine on the 782.

Yeah, it is a power angle blade. The 782 he got has the dual hydraulic setup.

No wonder he's drooling over it, 54" blades are hard to come by and one with power angle is even harder to come by.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
