Different snow blades.
I just got done trying to put the snow blade off of a 147 on the 71 when I realized that it was supposed to go on the quick attach on the 147 frame. I have decided to fab it up to fit on the 71, which wouldn't be hard. I was just wondering how many different blade types there where?

As far as I know only two different narrow frame substances. One for bolt on that iirc used the mule drive on the 70 100 102 122 and 123 . The last quick attach subframes I had also had the holes to bolt it on the non quick attach tractors .

Actually, the 42" blades are all the same, it's the sub-frames that are different, I believe there are at least 3 different ones for the Narrow Frame tractors and yet another for the Wide Frames.
In the illustration I believe the one from your 147 is #22 and you need a #15, I don't remember if you need the extension arms (#19) or not. http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=c...&dn=0068200001 Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but, I keep thinking that the Narrow Frame Quick Attach sub-frame that you have should bolt up to your 71, the "pins" would end up being just below the tractor frame, but it's late and I just don't remember.

cubby102 is correct, instead of using the extension brackets the #15 frame will bolt to the bolt on mule drive for the "non quick attach" tractors.

Here's what I fabbed to fit a QA sub-frame to my 102. Made of 3/8" plate with 1/2" holes drilled to except the QA set up. This worked great for my sub-frame and 102. You might give this pretty simple fab a try.
