Been cleaning out my friends garage and found these parts. I'm pretty sure they are cub cadet because of color but have NO idea what they fit. He has some cubs but the only attachment he has is a front blade. The plate has 2 spring loaded pins at the left side (as pictured) and has 2 adjustable clevises on the right. Any ideas? Thanks, Roy

Looks like John Deere stuff, their mower decks used that kind or mounting hardware.

The john deere asnwer is very possible. He has (had) a very nice 110 with a blade on it but no deck. Although the sears answer might not be far off because he was a horder (hoarder?), its possible someone threw them out and he picked them up. That would explain why they didnt look the least bit familiar to me. He passed away last jan. and I am in the midst of buying/cleaning up his property. Thank you both, Roy

They were john deere parts. I found the deck for it today.I've always noticed the deck but thought it was a cub deck! Its always leaned against the wall, bottom side out. I was cleaning today, layed the deck down and saw the jd tag! I mocked up the arms for it and hey fit. Thanks again gentlemen. Roy

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
