Default Cub Cadet Specialties

I check CCS sometimes randomly to see what they have. I think they are too high, but it's fun to look. Anyway, apparently they had a fire and are offline. Too bad, they have a lot of stuff, and the last time I looked, I think they had a pretty new building.

YUP, they had a fire. Devastating enough, to where I am thinking they will be down for quite a while, with winter encroaching on them in Northern Minnesota.

Cub Cadet Specialties are a great source for Cub Cadet parts. As said for being high priced, I believe that can be said about auto parts stores as well. Some places will have a part cheaper than one store might be. You have to shop around, for sure! Most of the prices are directly from Cub Cadet to begin with, and they also don't like to fool around with used parts too awful much. I can't say I don't blame them either.

The site has been one of the better, user friendly, and easy to navigate parts site on the web, hands down. This summer I spent a fair amount on items for the 72, and the customer service is A-1! I hope Cub Cadet Specialties can reopen at a later date.

CC Specialties was one of the best layed out (by design) sites for Cub Parts. Real easy to navigate. I often went there for reference and resources.

Let's hope that Charlie is able to rebuild his business and that he and his wife come out of this without too much loss. Prayers go out to them.

Boy I hate to hear that, they've been really good to me in the short time I've had my 782. Very quick service! I hope they can get things going again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
