Default 122 Back Together w/Creeper, New Clutch
Finally got it all put back together. Got the new modded clutch in with the creeper gear. Wow! is that slowwww. Fun to see what it can do! I also started to get the blade mounted properly.

Oh man,sure was wanting to see some pics of the creeper setup.Im thinking of possibly putting one on my 1200 and was wanting to get an idea of what all is involved with that process.

If everything else was in good shape, it would have been just a hacksaw to the shaft, a few bolts and done. I never get the easy way. I decided to totally rebuild my clutch. It was badly worn. The drive shaft was down to 1/2 in places (5/8 originally).

One thing I did do was run a tap in the previously unused holes in the front transmission cover, to clean out the gunk. I also ran a 1/4 drill slowly in the dowel holes to clean them out.

All in all, it was a fun project. I got to flex my machining muscles a little.

That looks pretty darn good. You do nice work.

Yes, First gear in low range is slow. I had a 122 with creeper gear and used it for rototilling. Even then sometimes that was too fast in creating a new garden. Established gardens it was fine.

Looks amazing. Did you make the pin driver and throw out bearing setup?
