I have a 100 with a 10HP Compression release engine. I was told that the engines with the compression release require a smaller diameter pulley than the non compression release engines. The non compression release engines have a lager pulley for torque to turn over the engine. I believe that I have the wrong pulley on the SG. I ordered a new belt from my local Cub dealer went to install it and the SG was pulled tight to the engine and I still couldn't get the belt on. Finally I got several belts from NAPA untill I found one that fit. The only problem is now the SG is all the way out from the engine as tight as I can get the belt with the adjustment bracket and the belt is loose and slips. I guess where I am going with this is can someone let me know what the correct diameter of the pulley should be. Mine currently is a 3" for a 3/8 belt.
Thanks, Scooter

I kinda have problems posting pics, the last time I posted a pic it took forever to upload and the pic was huge (DIAL UP). I have tons of pics that I'd like to share with everyone but everytime I try I get more ticked off and just give up. If someone has an idea of what I'm doing wrong let me know.
Thanks for the part #'s. There's a guy that rebuilds starters and alternators where I work that might have a pulley for me but I need to know what diameter the pulley needs to be. Thanks, Scooter

Scooter,
If you open a free Photobucket account, you can load your pics there and then you can post then on the site without using bandwidth. It's pretty easy to use and figure out. If you have trouble,I will try to help you through it.

I'm not sure but my Wife has That darn Kodak easyshare on my computer and it tried to take over everything! I think it is a product manufactured by Pinky and The Brain and marketed by Kodak.
Try looking in "My Documents" under "My Pictures" a lot of her stuff comes up there. There may or may not pe a place that says "view thumbnails" if there is, and you click on it you'll get little pictures instead of a Kodak logo with a number underneath. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
