Default 1250 pto removal
I have removed all of the PTO assembly except for the electromagnet "donut" that is mounted on the engine block . How is it attached? There are some slots and tabs(?) on the inner bore. Do these need to be manipulated to free the part or do I just need to pry it off? I'm hesitant to do the later. I'm hoping to replace just that part all of the rest seems OK. Thanks for any advice.

I believe you just need to take out the 4 bolts that hold it to the block.

Default pto removal
I feel a little stupid ( again) I went and took another look and figured it out. I'm glad I didn't try to pry it off!

Not being a Quiet Line guy and only ever having worked on one, I may be wrong but I believe, the 4 "studs" that protrude from the block have a hexagon with a stud on each side, one end screws into the block and the other end gets the spring and nut that hold the outer part on (they look like a stud with a nut screwed half way on). Unscrew them from the block and it should come off.
