Default 1641 vs 1210 Wheels

Hey gang! I'm attempting to swap out the front wheels on the running 1641 for the ones on the parked 1210 since the tires have so much more meat on them. I brought over a 1210 when and had to punch out the inner bearing and I notice it doesn't have a grease fitting in the inside of the wheel like the 1641 wheels. Also, there's no grease on the inside of the 1210 wheel while the 1641 is loaded. What should I do? Swap anyway? Or do the 1641 wheels need to stay with the 1641?

Thanks,

Clyde

1641 on top.

The wheels definitely appear identical. I'm wondering if its worth it to just swap them or should I wait until I get a chance to bring them to a tire shop and just swap the tires...

Pack the wheel bearings for the 1210 and slap them on the 1641, let the good times roll.

If you want to get fancy I can show you how I set up my 1210 so it could be greased with a grease gun.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
