Default Todays Mow

I tried out my new (refurbed) 50" deck today. A new weld, sharpened and balanced blades, couple coats of paint. Rustoleum Almond is a close match to IH White Valspar. It mowed good, but I think I need to move the deck wheels to another hole. Love taking pics of this thing.

I have a 50A on my 1650. I love it! Cuts soooo nice. My wheel weights are white, I like yours as yellow more. I might have to change mine... I also like your two tone deck.

Spur of the moment paint on the belt cover. I like it so much I kicked around the idea of doing my 44" in the same pattern. The wheel weights were tough to decide on as well.......glad I went yellow. Thanks for the comments fellas!

That's a lot of grass! Looks good.

Try using appliance epoxy pait by Rustoleum. Much more durable that the regular paint, & exact color your using but a few $$ more. I'm happy with it. I'm not a purist by any means & when it's my Cubby ill do what I want.

NIK,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
