Default 782D Question
How Rare are these 782D tractors? If you had the choice of buying one or the other would you buy the 782D or a restored spirit of 76 tractor? got my sights on both trying to decide which to get.

By all means get the diesel. It is a no brainier and if you get it you will see what I mean. The fuel economy is the best thing about the diesels. They are not as rare as you might think. There are always on ebay, but also get what you want. i have never seen a spirit of 76 in person, and if were restored, I do not think I would use it much, only for show.

I took a picture of this Spirit of 76 at Red Power. I have seen a few of these but this was by far the nicest.

The Spirit Of '76 is a tuff one to pass up. But the 782D is right up there with the King 982 in my personal opinion.
