I installed on one my 2072 and while it doesn't offer a lot of room. It does offer a lot more than I had before. I like the way it fits and think it is a nice touch.

user340_pic905_1278843360.jpg I think they look slick! Not sure what I'd put in one, but would like to have one. ![]()

To me they are handy to hold a set of needle nose pliers, large adjustable wrench and a screw driver or two. These help in the removal or mounting and adjustment of the deck, sub frame, and rear implements.

A little ice and a couple cold ones to make those long days mowing comes to mind. Now if it came with a cup holder I would buy one in a second.

...and this is why I love my N/F, it has a tool box already under the seat. (not trying to offend anyone here, just saying why I like having an open space under the seat. The one pictured does look pretty neat.)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
