Today got to paint my new wheel weights and worked on the wheel bearings for the 100. It got up to 79 degrees today after a week of lows in the 30's and highs in the low 60's or upper 50's. Time to paint! These weights weigh 68 lbs apiece. Have thought long and hard about how to mount them. Maybe I can just lift them into the wheel and attach the carriage bolts. If not, I envision a jack and ready rod...

Looking good. I am in the same boat, sneaking in as many painting days as possible on our last few warm fall days. I need a few more to get my 147's fender pan and hood finished.

Well painting here in Georgia is almost year round
![]() When it does get cold I do two things. 1. After I blast / and or clean the part up I'm going to paint I use a space heater to warm the part up. 2. While this is going on I put the can of paint or paint canister around the heater to get it warm as well or just keep it upstairs until your ready to paint. With small parts this works pretty well and on the larger parts two heaters. This is my Jeep block I painted last year when the weather was cold and it was painted outside with rattle cans. Still looks as good as it did 3K miles and 10 months ago. ![]()

Wow, nice looking Firebird. I can't see the width of the T-roof so I'll have to guess 78-81. Body looks to be in terrific shape. PM me some pics once you have the color laid down please.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
