New to OCC
Have viewed the site for awhile now, but wanted to make my first post.
Bought a CCC 782 last weekend. The PO was a puller and had so many other projects going on, he didn't want to cannibalize this one since it was operational. Serial #715729; it has a cast iron rear axle and the Series II KT-17 motor. Deck has been welded on and in so-so condition. Missing front grille and hood ornament. It runs well; hydro lift works, mows and is surprisingly fast. Will probably start taking it apart, cleaning it up and priming/painting. Undoubtedly, I'll probably have some questions along the way.

Welcome to the CC world! It's nice to see someone post a awesome cub for their first post instead of a for sale ad. Good luck with it. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask.

Good find on the 782. These old ones are far better than the new models produced today.
