Default Can I keep it More

Hi all. There is a big grin on my face this evening because the new addition (the 1650) ran and moved this afternoon. I had it in the barn in front of the 169 so it didn't go far, BUT IT MOVED, SWEEEEET!!

Still needs the carb rebuilt, the brakes adjusted, the shifter freed up more, well you know, all the things that should have been done the past 8 years but weren't.

I have an ignition switch, a grille, and a pair of side shields coming from greed pay this week so things are getting there. Maybe I won't have to strong arm the snowblower this winter. That's hard to imagine right now.

Momma had a big grin on her face when I showed her that the engine wasn't blown, but when it started...and then the tractor moved...BIG SMILE!!! Ok so only the head lights and 1 tail light work. I need something to do tomorrow.

HAPPY CUBBING

FFGino

FFGino,
Not much inspires like a running Cub. Keep us posted with some pictures.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
