# 1 Trailer
I just purchased a #1 trailer at an auction, it is in great condition except the guy who had it painted the sides JD green. I know it is a IH because the sticker is still on the hitch and was not painted over. Q. so do I sand blast it and repaint or does that take away from the value? Also do I put on new tires or leave the old weather checked ones, they are holding air and have no big breaks or anything. I will be selling it and am wondering how to get the best price, leave it as is or restore?

An IH cart painted JD green is not more valuable IMO than one that is painted IH white. Get that crap off of there ASAP.

I just sold one that had a lot of surface rust but no holes for 300. Asking around i found that the most i would get for a refinished trailer was around 450. In my eyes it was better to have the new owner be the one to do the work. He'll enjoy the process of re doing it more than the 150 dollar profit i would have recieved.
