Default Got pics of my 782 project

Here are a couple of pics of my 782 that I've recently been working on. Everything is done except I still need to order 1 more Tru Power for the rear. The before pics are in my profile.

That looks great!! I love those narrow rims and tri ribs. If I didn't already have brand new V61's on the front I would put on some narrow rims too.

I'm actually a little disgusted with that seat. I paid $100 for it on ebay and it's not what they had pictured. The seat in their pic was a exact replacement seat and this one has a plastic pan and it sits a lot higher than the original. I'm thinking it's going to get replaced later down the road.

The front rims were a real pain. I narrowed them myself and I'm not a very good welder. It took me about a hour to cut and weld each one. It took me another hour to grind down the crappy welds to make them look better. Next time I'm getting them professionally welded!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
