Default Found a 124 Cub cadet with extras

Place an add, That I was looking for older Cub Cadets, had a guy call me with this, only 25 minutes from the house, not to bad of a deal I think. It has a creeper gear, wheel weights, pump to lift the the three point hitch, has a tiller, everything seems to be ok, except the front tires and motor, said it just quit,I took head off and it looks like it is in great shape, hope it was just something small to fix, hope to have time to get it going, was stop on the way home, someone wanting to buy it, o well, we will see. on way there had a another guy call me with 30 cubs he wants to sale, here we go, only about 50 miles from the house. Going to work on motor on Wednesday or Thursday

Nice 124. Has alot of desireable options, especially the hydraulic lift. Keep us posted on the 30 cub score. Might be the start of another Cub mother lode!

Great cub with options Donny!!! I think the technical library would have the belt sizes that you need---sorry, I don't know it off the top of my head even though I have both of those belts on my cubs.

Default 124 cub

Might have to let it go, just got a good deal on it, just wanted it out of the weather, needs to be working some where on this tractor or on other tractors, guess I will part it out, if I don't let it go to a new home all together

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
