I got tired of looking at 3 rattle can paint jobs, runs, rust and scratches..
I used paint stripper and a pressure washer and got it down to what was left of the OE paint. sanded it quick with a DA and sprayed 2 thick coats of epoxy primer on it. I'll wet sand that next and epoxy seal it, and paint. its not going to be a show paint job but it'll be one color of yellow and no rust. I did pull the wire harness out so it wont be painted. and ordered the new decals from maplehunterdecalstexas.com

![]() Could you share some info on painting? How much primer and top coat did you use? ( number of coats of each too please ) Also, what kind of equipment you're using. I'm interested in painting but never did anything more than rattlecan. Thanks Jeff if this was already covered, a link would suffice. ![]() |

Jeff, its really just having the nack for painting, and getting use to using a brand of paint/primer /whatever... but I'll do my best for yah...

does anyone know the correct color for the foot rest area? also on the wheels , are they the cream beige color or the IH white.
