Default Sears loader

I stopped @ a Garage sale and spotted sitting in a corner, a sears loader with pump for a GT of some sort.
It was a older unit from the look of it,and it looked as if it would fit easily on a cub
It is the last thing I need as I have the loader on the IH 400, but I was curious as to the price,as he was asking $900.
Are these things worth that?
Thanks,
ol'George

If it's all there then that's not a bad price. Almost all of the loaders are the same with their own style sub frame. New sub frame and you can adapt the sears loader to your cub. I would suggest running the pump off the flywheel side of the motor.

SteveW took a FEL off a power king and put it on his 125 via new sub frame with great results. Matt did the same thing and has a great how to on OCC and his site as well. I do prefer this site as it's just the build without the chatter (mine inculded)

Default That's a good price

I built one from scratch and it cost $2200. Of course it was new when I finished but just the parts alone will cost a lot more than $900. If you can get a guarantee on the pump and rams then it's a no brainer.

Thanks for the replies,I don't want it or have a use for it,as I have a 7' bucket #2500+ loader tractor.
I just thought that was overpriced for such a little thing,
but guess it is not, espically for someone that wants one.
That is why I asked.
Thank you for answering my question, I hope it goes to a deserving person.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
