Default Great finds for $20 each!!!!!

Could not belive my luck when i found these. Brinly plow, cultivator,And a #2 tiller all stored indoors and in great condition. The owner also thought the three point hitch was part of the cultivator so he told me to take it. Too bad i missed the two gang disc also for $20 and the 682 for $100 with a bad motor. Now i have a question about the tiller, it came with the tiller mule for the 82 but i know it won't fit the 125 so do i need to find solid pullies for my mule or will the stamped ones work. Also it looks like the pulley on the gear box might be for the bigger belts and what size and length belt do i need? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks John

That's the way to keep your eyes open john k!! LIke Diz said...Great Steal....on the Steel!!

If you don't have any use for the wide frame mule for the tiller, I may be looking for one. I picked up a 1650 with a mower and tiller but the only mule I have has the angled pulleys.

Roblynn as far as the wide frame mule it has the 5/8 pulleys i believe, also the tiller has the three point quick hook onthe gear box and arms for the lift on the tiller. They just unbolt and take the pins out to remove them. Right at this point not sure what i am going to do with them but will keep you in mind.

Finally i was lucky enough to get one of these deals i only read about. The stuff was about 80 miles away from me and it only took me an hour to get there. The whole way there every pickup or trailer i came up on i was trying to pass thinking they were going to the same place, as the owner said he had many calls on it. I didn't have the heart to tell him why so many people were calling.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
