cub 106
I picked up a Cub 106 on Craigslist last week. plan on doing a full restoration over the summer. It has the original IH plow for it. It ran fine, no smoke. I took it home, used it for one day, and then it stopped working. My first thought, it was the battery, but now after charging it, I'm thinking its the starter. Now I get a click and that's all. I've cleaned all the connections on the wires and the starter it gets hot and that's about it. any suggestions?

the starter only gets hot on the terminals and that's when i try and start it a few times but again it just clicks and that's all. i haven't had a chance to really mess with it yet but im not sure where to start either

Clicks
Are you saying it doesn't turn over at all? Just that the solenoid clicks ?
Is the engine free? Can you turn it over by hand? Which terminal is hot when you try and start it? Battery, solenoid or starter generator? Have you cleaned the terms at the S/G end? John

one of my Gts started clicking. It turned out to be the switch. if you have an extra switch laying around, give it a try.
