Snow Blade Flap
Has anyone added a snow blade flap to the top of the blade??
I saw this on CL. bladeflap.jpg I think it would move the snow to the side quicker!! Anybody done this??

Yes, I have done so on both a pick-up plow and on my 54"Haban. It helps to roll it in front of you instead of letting it flow over the top or in the air. I have found that round baler belting seems to work the best as it will remain flexible all year. You can find it at any farm store like TSC. I have a friend that runs a bailing business and I get the old belts from him. I would make it stick out each end about six inches so go about a foot longer than your blade is wide.
