Default Port bypass

I have a PORTED hydro pump and want to temporarily bypass the ports, So I can use the tractor while repairing and upgrading the lift systems.

Can I just loop the two ports w/tubing?
if so
What diameter would be best 3/8"or 1/2"?
Would Compression or Flair fittings be best?

Thanks

I have pretty much the opposite. A ported pump that has never been used from a 129. Going from opposite of what I have to do, you can remove the sping and cone on the side of the pump and then just cap off the hoses.

Yea If I'm reading correctly. It looks like some came like that and you could add hydro lifts.

Its saying to swap the springs around. Not sure if you have to worry about that or not. But my charge pump spring and cone are missing completely so I think that is so it can just bypass inside. I was looking around for a hydraulic circuit of the pump innards with no luck the other day. I thought I saw one once. I have to search some more so I can understand it all better.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
