Cub Cadet "Original" with Kohler K161 and ACR?

Hello,

because I am not so healthy at the moment, I deal just something with the theory of my Cub Cadet "original".
In the Time in the Hospital, i had to read time, sometimes the books of Ken Updike, (Farmall Cub and Cub Cadet).
In it stands also which has offered Kohler the engines for Cub Cadet only from 1965 with Automatic Compression Release (ACR).

I have a Cub Cadet "Original", number 11278, from July, 1961, with Kohler K161S Small bored block, and ACR.

However, the block looks externally just, as in the pictures in the books, so go out I from the fact which is it the original one.

Is it possible that the previous owner "O", has postprepared?
