Default Road Trip!!!!

Well, I'm heading up to NY tomorrow to get my 73 and finally meet Jeff. I'll be at his place on Saturday afternoon. At first I thought it was going to be a nice trip for me and the wife, but one thing and another happens so the boys are coming too!!! I'm hoping on the way back we can swing by my wife's grandfather's place and maybe I can pull back a 149 too!!! Now that would be too sweet.

You should swing in and see Mike and me on your way by. Which way are you going up I have some parts for Jeff, I could meet you out on 79 and that would save the shipping.

I've been PM'ing Mike. I think we are going up 79. She wants to see her grandfather, but we are probably going to come back down and see him. I don't know what time we're leaving (I'd like to leave EARLY). We can try to figure something out. My 20 month old rides good, but for how long I don't know. So I say we'll be making some stops.

My MIL has apparently been dropping some hints I told her I don't want to bum it, I'll more than gladly give him something for it, I just don't want to see something happen to that thing whenever he does pass away... who knows...

It would be sweet if you could get it before something else happens with it. If your like me you've waited this long a little bit longer doesn't matter. I've been waiting 18 yrs for my wifes uncle to part with one of his cubs. Now he wants to sell it to me but he wants to go out and buy an off topic tractor and the family isn't to happy about it. So the waiting game begins again.

So when is the new cub shop being built in the back?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
