Today I got yet another new toy. It's not yellow but it looks like the steel parts used to be GREEN!! Sorry.
It has no name plate any where on it. I'm thinking it was on the top plate that is missing. It has two rods that come up inside the handle. One to raise and lower the handle. the other for the pump itself. It dose not work. The body is aluminum with steel arms and wheels. I don't think I'll start taking it apart until I find some info in it first. Has anyone seen one of these and might know the name of the manufacturer? Anyone rebuild one like it? ![]() ![]() ![]()

I do believe I may have seen one similar at a local Sinclare station mid to late 50's era.

At one time I had a business that I manufactured hydraulic cylinders, overhaul of pumps, motors, valves, etc. I have not seen one of these, but the repair of the hydraulic lift in itself should be a simple process. Now, getting that taken apart might be a whole other story......................

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
