Spring cleaning of a 1650
Hi Everyone,
I am putting my 1650 on limited duty for the summer as I have inherited an off topic lawn tractor with a bagger. I would like to give the 1650 a few well deserved new parts and a long overdue cleaning. Anyone have any thoughts on their favorite degreaser? What about a power washer vs. a garden hose? What if I could get access to an automotive type engine steamer? Thanks in advance. Eric btw-The 1650 started without any issues after being outside through the new england winter.

I don't know you have Dollar General up there, if you do they have a cleaner called Totally Awsome. It is unbleivable, and it's only a buck a bottle. The stuff is the best cleaner I've found for the money.

I like PurplePower and there's a local homebrew around here called Blue Wolf. It's some good stuff, I don't know how far they distribute, but it's good. I've got decent pressure from my home tap, it's worked well enough on parts with a mild scrubbing.
