122 finally!
Just got the OK from the wife to pick up a 122 from one of her co-workers. Im really excited because the 122 is my favorite model of cub, and Ive been wanting to find one for awhile. This one is a little rough, its been brush painted and has a few small parts missing, but it runs good, comes with a blade and has a creeper! Im looking forward to getting it a little later in the week with pics to follow. I would love to do my 1st full blown resto on this one. Wish me luck.

Well I got her home, and wow! It runs and drives good, but this thing is a PO alterations nightmare. There are so many holes drilled in this thing, counted 8 in the hood alone, I bet 30 in all, theyre everywhere! It has some strange things welded to it, mis matched (size wise) front tires, and it looks to be spray painted over brush paint. I love it! Pics coming soon I promise. 1 question though something caught my eye, on the diff cover at the very top in the center there is a dowel pin, approx 3/8" sticking out??? Looks factory , never seen this before.

Looking forward to more from you. One of my friends has informed me this week that he "might" part with one of his 9 Cubs, and it just happens to be a 122 with a creeper gear. I hope to hear him tell me sometime soon to go to his house and put it in the trailer
