Default The 108 gettting a little sun...PICS..PICS

Well...we all like pics...so here's a shot of my 108 out getting a little sun yesterday. Cleaned up the old tomato stalks from the tomato cages and some other stuff from around the garden and hauled that off in the trailer, later hauled some fish guts and slimey water off after cleaning a mess of crappie.
You can see the smoke in the pic if ya look close..she runs great but the cylinder is worn out so she smokes a good bit. I just keep some Lucas oil treatment in her and will run her till she gives up

Have a blessed day!!

Nice to see pics of 108s. Not to many get posted. Guess I'm as guilty as any.

Don't worry Kenny, I'll be posting some of my 108 soon. As long as it doesn't rain this weekend!

Glad to see a 108 out and about. I have one sitting in the garage needing a transmission rebuild and a new carb. My has a newer 12hp engine. Trying to decide whether to do a complete restore or just fix the broke parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
