Default finding a model 100

Is it hard finding a model 100 for a decent price everywhere or just New England?

I am almost wishing I bought that one I found way back in fall that looked pretty funky with some strange add ons LOL.
But by the time I changed out everything to stock it would of cost me dearly.

There’s one sitting in the corner of my shop. It’s been there over 3 years. A neighbor brought it over and had me getting it running. Once I had it running, I told him the tired old kohler needed overhauled. I pulled the engine, dismantled it and he took the block to have it bored, valves and seats ground, guides checked and head milled. He never came back. So I have a 100 with no block. Like I said, that was 3 years ago. The 100 has a 3 point hitch, spring assist, 4 wheel weights and round fenders. He only paid 50 bucks for it…..I wonder if he’ll ever come back with the block and have me finish it?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
