Haven't been here for a while. Doing other projects. I've been working on a diesel swap in a 89 Wrangler YJ.
Anyways here in Ohio we have not received enough snow to justify putting on the blade yet on my 1450. We might get some nasty snow yet but we should only have about 3-4 weeks more of the winter weather. Have any of you guys left your blade off for the year. |

Have my blade on the 800 and thrower on the 169. Usually just leave the blower on and take the blade off after the snow is long gone.

Living in middle TN we do not get the snows like most of the members but I am ready when it falls. We have had more snows this winter than average winters. Got a new blade point on the 149 and had to heat up the shoes to re-adjust. Heat and PB Blaster after parts cool, hour later they unfroze.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
