Default 100 Makes it to the garage

After about a month of waiting, I finally got the time to go get my 100.

Seems to be complete. The current paint is a rattle can job, but not horrible. Needs a little attention. However, I will not be able to work on it until after I finish the 1200.

I'm seriously considering a complete 'frame off' resto on this little guy. When I eventually do get around to it, I can only hope that it looks half as good as 'jasire's 100 when I'm done.

Thanks for the compliments, guys!

I'm not really a NF guy, but I've always thought the 100's were really sharp machines. I knew that if I found a decent one that I would have to get it. Must say that I a pretty happy at the moment. We'll see if that changes once I begin working on it! :biggrin2.gif:

John, I'm having a brush guard made for a WF that will be identical to the one that is on the 100. Not cheap because of the slight bend in the middle, but I thought it was worth it. Let me know if you would have any interest in one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
