I'am not realy sure. But before I knew of OCC., I had been a member there. It's a good site. And there are other non-topic tractor fourms on the internet, But OCC is as good as one can be! Hang out for a while and see! Welcome!

Funny, I was just looking yesterday :-) Apparently, they had their domainname sniped and can't get it back - so have reorganized the site (at least teh forum part)
I thought it was weird they were down for such a long time too.

There seems to be some bad vibes about all of this. The "other" site was good for info, but I think the new one will never regain what the other one lost. I'm most certain this will get moved or deleted, there always seems to have been some issues between this site and the Reg, sad, but seems to be the case..nobody ever really seems to want to discuss it much..

I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long.......usually any mention of another forum...especially that one, brings a penalty of 50 lashings and a instant "lock" on the thread...lol...too bad isnt it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
