Hey everybody;
I'm looking at a 127 that's for sale here. The owner says that he's put a new wiring harness and battery in it but won't turn over. My question is when I go to look at this tonight,is there a way to jump the starter/generator just to see if this thing turns over, and the starter/generator is working?What else could be wrong?

If you take the belt off from the starter/generator and it should spin freely when turning the key if it doesn't try jumping the solonoid if that don't do it then the starter part of the generator is bad. If it all seems to spin then try to manually turn the engine over just a bit make sure that isn't ceased up.

Thanks, Nuzzget. If I cut out the Neutral safety switch, and tie the S wire from the key switch to the wires from either side of the solenoid, can I eliminate both the solenoid and the neutral switch?
