**Mod note, I am putting this here because it is not a CL /EB ad and they are sitting at a Mom-n-Pop repair place, sorry if you need to move it
There was 4 RED 82 series cubs with decks and one had hub caps. they looked like 1-582, 1-582 special, and possibly 2-(for sure 1) 482. I did not stop and look up close or get prices, but they looked in very good original shape. They are located between hwy 29 and old hwy 29 on hwy13 North in Abbostford, WI. If anyone is interested, I can get some pics and stop for prices next Sunday or possibly get some info sooner. I don't have any need for a 4 or 582. I only did a drive by because I was told he had 4 red cubs cadets out front and was hoping for a 982 to be in them.

Well they are all still there, 782, 682, 582 special, and a 482..no time for getting prices from him but might stop back this week when he is open
![]() ![]() ![]() Please excuse those nasty green things in the pics, it was the only angle I could get :biggrin2.gif: I don't know why but the 482 is tweaking my intrest to become the straight mower instead of my 682.. ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
