LOTS of PB Blaster.... let it soak in good, may even take overnight. When I took the wheel off my 127 it was about 45 minutes worth of work.

i can't remember who it was that posted the pictures (he will let you know) but he used blocks of woods and said that it came off real easy and with no damage at all. i'm sorry my mind slips me in my early age (asphalt to the head as a teen). jeff

While beating the crap out of if, use upward pressure at 12, 3, 6, and 9 oclock changing with each wack and it should pop right off, at least mine did. Good luck

Take a narrow pickle fork and pound that between the steering wheel and the tube, then take a 5/16 bolt (I think) with a nut and inch or two up and put that in the hole and give that a whack. I've had the best luck this way. A stubborn one you may have to hit the bolt, then the fork, then the bolt again, and so on. Don't pound too hard on the fork, as not to damage the steering wheel or the tube, just some solid constant pressure.
