In my mind, I was thinking, They would have rebuilt one of the old models, Not rebuilt, But made it look like one, Because It's not like, having an airodynamic front end is going to help at 8 miles an hour... just not...
I'm not sure Cody |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What are they thinking!??? SAD!!! I'd have to say that is a VERY poor attempt at an anniversary tractor. I agree, I would have thought they may have styled it at least a little off the old original styles in the first say 10 years?? Heck, even Chevrolet even figured that out with there new cars......at least they made them sort of sporty compared to the originals? Not that a Cub is going to be sporty..but come on!! I think my dog & cat could have thrown their ideas together and come up with a better design than that!!! I REALLY think they should have commissioned some of the old design team from Cub Cadet to design this edition - it would have been MUCH better! FOOLS!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
