Probably need to describe what New means. That term has different
meanings to people. My first thought is new? Like in the box?
Let us know what exactly what you have and folks might be able to help.

Lets hope they are at least worth what you paid for them!
Of course, only you know that I assume.
Pictures would help here a lot.
In the real world they are worth only what someone might be willing to pay for them.

So true,
"New" or "all rebuilt" means a new gasket and a rattle can paint job to some sellers.
To others "new" means in the original box, has never been installed, run or used, sometimes called "new old stock"
So many variables to consider, when buying or selling.

Usually there are 1 or 2 New NOS engines turn up at Portage, WI every year.
2 years ago, I snagged an NOS 54" blade from a fellow with a NF undercarriage.
He also had NOS snow throwers as well on the trailer, 36 and 42"

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
