Color of the year
Brown and grey are a bit depressing this time of year for many people with "seasonal affective disorder". The small amount of sun people get in the winter is often not enough as well.
I have often seen red cardinals in winter. One year we had 3 fluttering around the pine tree outside our window on Christmas Day!! What an up lifting feeling just watching them play!

Color of the year
I guess some Cub fans like to see things more in black and white...and shades of grey too! A lot less complicated for those who prefer a more monochromatic vision of life. Simple, yet effective!
 I have always been a fan of old black and white movies even though I prefer things in nature with a variety of colors..."different strokes for different folks" or "to each his own" as they used to say!  Just "funnin'" wit cha! HO! HO! HO!
