149 relief valve lever
I bought a 149 this summer and the part that pushes down on the relief valves is gone from the relief lever. Anyone fabricate one of these, or can they be bought?

You have two avenues to pursue.
(A) The parts you are looking for are NLA new from Cub Cadet. You could try looking for good used parts from the Sponsors listed in the boxes at the top of the page. You could also try here..........Parts (B) You could replace the Manual type of Relief Valves with the newer Automatic type.

(C) I don't see why you can't make one if you've got the tools. It's just a piece of steel that wraps around the lever and is attached with a roll pin. The original one is spring steel, but if you're gentle with it, you won't bend one that isn't spring steel. It takes very little to hold those buttons down.
