Default New to me - 149
I'm thinking about picking up a 149, I don't know much about hydro's.
Any information about it would be greatly appreciated.

Hydrostatic is great. You will love it. 149 is said to be the best single cylinder cub cadet made. 149 is on my list of Cubs I want to own as well.

I agree, the 149 is a popular model sought after. It was the first 14HP Wide Frame model.

Use the "Search" feature to find threads and how-to's on "hydrostatic" or "hydro". Also might look up "trunnion" repair.

A 149 is a great tractor. Infinite speeds, hydraulic lift, what’s not to like. If you plan to mow with it, you’ll love the hydrostat.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
